wanting to know treatments that work and anybody who has used them. Thanks

Hi Tiger

Here is a testimonial on how to heal the issue

9/27/2007: JoAnne follows up, "Fantastic, I took the soda, H202 and water. By the second swallow I felt it easing up. It has now totally stoped. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. I was ready to call 911. No ear piercing sound or heart shaking. Going to bed now. Maybe I’ll rest better. Thank you again"

Ted replies, "Happy to hear the news. The hearing sensitivity can be greatly reduced, if the body is properly alkalized with the peroxide solution. This should buy time and I would try to find a longer term solution by removal of heavy metals and raising antioxidant, killing the infections through the BHT as per last email."

how old do i have to be to seek medical advice alone?

August 28, 2010 - 12:31 pm 5 Comments

i think i’m suffering with severe depression, i’m 16 this year. i don’t want to have to tell my parents to visit the doctor for, i want some confidentiality. how old do i have to be (via the nhs) to be able to privately consult my doctor and get medical advice and therapy without any involvement of my parents?

Confidentiality/age bases it’s self on a law called "frazer competency". This means that if the profesional you visit feels you are competent to deal with this yourself they will not tell your parents.
The age for this normally is around 11, this would be for everyday things, infections, illnesses etc. 13 is the general age for confidential conraception, although this can vary, particularly in deprived areas.

Depression and mental illness is a dificult one. If the profesional feels you are at risk of harming yourself or others (physically or emotionally) they have a duty to inform a responsable adult. If you get refered on to a service such as CAMHS (child and adolescent mental health service) your parents HAVE to be informed, as this shows that your ill enough to need specialist help. You may want to take confide in someone over 18 to act as a "responsable adult" if your GP sees that they know and can support you they would be much less likley to have to break confidentiality. This can include a teacher, youth worker, friend, other family member.

But the most important thing is to get the help, your parents wont be angry, they will be proud youve taken the mature decision to get the help you need and diserve.

Good luck!

What is some home remedies for coughing from allergies?

What is some home remedies for coughing from allergies?
What are some home remedies for a cough? I am taking Sudafead PE which helped break the stuff up but when i get up in the morning I am coughing really bad and can barely breathe for my throat and stuff being coated with the drainage. What is some stuff I can use that is usually around the house?

Honey often helps.
Sudafed PE should not help, theoretically, as it is a decongestant (shrinks the swelling of the lining of your nose). If your cough is truly caused by allergies, a better choice would be loratidine (Claritin) or diphenhydramine (Benadryl).

Does hydrotopic cream (Ingredients Hydrocortisone 1% w/w) help with external hemorrhoids? Home treatments?

August 28, 2010 - 12:31 pm 4 Comments

I have external hemorrhoids and they are there for already 4 days. I found this Hydrotopic cream which is made of Hydrocortisone 1% w/w . I’ve seen that Hydrocortisone can help in Hemorrhoids. But this hydrotopic cream that I have wasnt bought for treating Hemorrhoids though. It was used for the face before. Can I apply this ? Will it help or will it make it worse?

And I’ve heard that hot sit baths can help, are there any other ways to remove external hemorrhoids from treatment at home?

Use a proper hemmorhoid cream, such as Preparation H or Anusol. Sitz baths help—several per day. Ice also helps the swelling go down a lot—put an ice cube in a plastic bag, then in a towel. Ice for 10 min at a time, several times per day. If you can take one full day off work/school to do these things, plus to lie down as much as possible, you can dramatically improve the hemorrhoid.

What is the natural healing process for a nose piercing, and how do I clean it?

August 28, 2010 - 12:31 pm 2 Comments

Okaay i have quite a few questions so bear with me, im just really worried itll get infected!

How do i clean it?
Is your nose supposed to swell up, mine hasn’t (had it done 2 days ago), is this bad?
How long does it take to heal
How do i avoid gettin the dreaded ‘bump’?

Salt water:
1/4 teaspoon sea salt (not table, so non-iodized) dissolved in hot water, when warm bathe for 5-10 minutes twice a day.

Mine didn’t swell either :) it’s fine.
cartilage piercings take 6-12 months to heal completely
Just try not to move it about, if you get hyperthrophic scarring (bump) chamomile teabags are a charm.

herbal cures for hormonal bleeding ?

August 28, 2010 - 12:31 pm 1 Comment

Does anyone know of any herbal cures or help for hormonal perimenopausal bleeding ?

Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) is a system of medical treatment for perimenopausal and postmenopausal women, based on the assumption that it may prevent discomfort and health problems caused by diminished circulating estrogen hormones. The treatment involves a series of drugs designed to artificially boost hormone levels. The main types of hormones involved are estrogens, progesterone or progestins, and sometimes testosterone.

Knowing the most beneficial vitamins for menopause.

Vitamins play a vital role in maintaining good health and well being, not only during the menopausal years but even during a woman’s childhood years as well. And vitamins are not restricted to women only. Regardless of gender, age, and race, vitamins are essential tools in achieving sound mind and body.

Most people do not realize it but sometimes their diet does not allow them to get all the essential nutrients that the body needs. Vitamins act like support to your diet so that the correct amount of nutrients may be taken in by the body.

Vitamins for menopause work the same way as any other vitamins. A woman during menopause may require them more as several changes are happening inside her body. The most common vitamins for menopause are:

Vitamin A
As a vitamin for healthy skin, eyes and mucous membranes, this is essential because menopausal years bring a lot of physical changes including dry skin. This is also considered as one of the best vitamins for menopause because it prevents heavy bleeding which ultimately leads to cervical cancer.

Vitamin B Complex
While all B vitamins work to support one another, vitamin B6 and B12 are exceptionally necessary. B6 vitamins for menopause are essential especially for hormone replacement therapy (HRT) patients. On the other hand, B12 vitamins for menopause are said to restore lost energy and provide a much greater level than what the person used to have.

Vitamin C
Possibly the best vitamins for menopause, Vitamin C is known as the healing vitamin. Aside from it ability to heal wounds and maintain collagen, vitamin C also helps in bone repair. As people grow older, the need for collagen regeneration rises as well. Thus, this vitamin is a must for people who are going through the middle-age crisis.

Vitamin D
Vitamin D works basically like calcium and estrogen. All are essential in the maintaining healthy bones. Menopausal women are more prone to osteoporosis because of low estrogen production. Thus, vitamin D is an essential component of the diet of women during menopausal years.

Vitamin E
Some call it the menopausal vitamin because it has been uses as an estrogen substitute. Some chemical properties of vitamin E are said to be the same as that of the body?s estrogen making it an effective remedy for hot flashes and even some psychological effects of menopause.

Even if menopause is farther down the block, these vitamins for menopause may be necessary to people who have not been following careful diets and healthy lifestyles. However, if menopause has knocked on your door, then these vitamins for menopause are a good way to greet it with.

That’s My Best Answer! Hope it can help!
