Tinnitus treatment can someone advise me about something that actually relieves the ear ringing.?

September 30, 2010 - 12:48 pm 1 Comment

It is just frightening to stand by and witness my grandmother struggling to cope with ear ringing! The tinnitus is not the worst though, as she battles to fall asleep her general health is also starting to suffer. It seems that as she is so irratable and up tight, she doesn’t get to sleep much and nowdays seems to catch every infection that is going around. Is this be resulting from her tinnitus? Where can I get a tinnitus remedy right now.

I know that conventional wisdom will tell you that there is no chance of a cure but my friend unearthed a website http://www.t-gone.com that offered much support in finding the cause of her tinnitus. So I would advise a visit.

I have read dozens of postings asking the yahoo community for medical advice. GO TO A DOCTOR!

I KNOW!
Me too!

I love answering those questions! Right up there by "is my avatar hot", "am I pregnant" and "does he like me"

How to get rid of a hemorrhoid?

September 30, 2010 - 12:48 pm 8 Comments

I have tried preparation H cream and suppositories for a week- no help
I did all the other stuff like diet change.
I want to cure the actual hemorrhoid. I have heard from two people that Desitin worked for them. My doc put me on Anucort HC (Anusol HC) suppositories. I assume they won’t help either but we’ll see. Does anyone have any medicine that worked at shrinking theirs away??

THanks!

Hi Nalee,
I would just like to clear up two points for you after reading what other people wrote here.
Point1 Surgery is the very last thing you should consider for two very good reasons one hemorrhoids can and do come back after surgery.Secondly every operation is a risk and this is an unnecessary risk.

Point 2 Do not Take HOT sitz baths that’s the worse thing you could do for you hemorrhoids they will swell up and become more painful.

If you are going to use sitz baths the correct way is; Do not use HOT water as this will have exactly the opposite effect of what you want. Sitz bath is a form of bathing where the bottom and hips are immersed in warm or cold water for a period of time, 15 – 20 minutes is ideal.

Sitz baths are best for cleansing the area while cool sitz baths help to ease swelling and can even help with constipation. A simple trick is to add salt, or baking soda to the water and allow yourself to soak in the water, this trick works to clean the affected area as well as relieving pain.

Don’t add soap to the water as this can be irritating if you have any type of anal infection or irritation, afterwards dry the affected area with a soft towel.

To answer your question, how to get rid of hemorrhoids, there is no one easy answer but we can get rid of them. The use of creams pills and suppositories will not get rid of them for you they will ease the effects sooth the pain maybe, but all they are doing is treating the effects of the hemorrhoids.

What you need to do is treat what caused the hemorrhoids in the first place logical isn’t it :-)
So how do we do that very simple go to the source area and you will see how to get rid of your hemorrhoids permanently.

natural healing of Inflammation of cartilage in chest?

September 30, 2010 - 12:48 pm 1 Comment

A few months ago I was having pains in my chest but nothing that makes me feel like its my heart but like tearing muscles or tendons in my chest when I would stretch or lift something heavy, my doctor said its inflammation of cartilage in my chest and just to take Ibuprofen everyday but I would like to know if there are any natural remedies I could use. Thanks!!!

Cold will help, an ice pack will reduce swelling. It’s also important to understand why it did that in the first place. My husband has a similar problem. It used to cause him daily pain, now that we know what causes it, he hasn’t had a problem in a really long time. His problem was muscle tension in his back pulling his ribs out of place. A trip to the chiropractor would help, but now that I am a massage therapist I can relieve the problem before it even starts. So chiropractors and massage therapists might be able to help. The quick fix is ice, and avoiding the activities that cause pain until it heals by itself. Good luck!

Herbal cures & remedies……………………………………………………………………………

September 30, 2010 - 12:48 pm 5 Comments

I would like to hear your best herbal cure or remedy. I already know about MSM, Resveratrol, Zinc, Xylitol, Pomegranite powder. This is such an interesting subject to me. Do you have a favorite? How do you make it? What does it do? Why do you think it does what it does? How did you learn about it?

Thank you in advance for sharing with me! =)

I love this question. I love my favorite herb – Mullein: http://www.ashtreepublishing.com/Book_City_Herbal_Mullen.htm
The link will sum up all the great stuff about it.

We use it for everything respiratory, my husband even picked some leaves last weekend and boiled them in water for a steam inhaler. He had a headache and sinus pressure. He didn’t have long to try it, though, since we were heading to the store. But, while he was inhaling his head felt much better!

My mom usually picks and dries it for us yearly. This year we ran out, but luckily found some on the back acreage when clearing some land! YEAH! Otherwise, I would have had to buy the predried leaves or bags.

We first found out about it from an herbalist friend when my daughter (fully vaccinated) was suffering from whooping cough. It calmed her cough like nothing else. That was 11 years ago. We still use and recommend it for its powerful curative and comforting effects. We basically use it as a tea – steeped 5-8 minutes and sweetened with honey. It tastes good too!

Thanks for asking! I can’t wait to see what others have to say.

Does skin urticarea has a cure in allopathy, ayurvedic or homeopathy or others?

September 30, 2010 - 12:48 pm 2 Comments

Hi, I have suffered from skin urticarea for the last 12 yrs, tested allergic to 24 things and its bi-products, consumed allopathy, homeopathy, and ayurvedic, and all home – therapy , and none seem to work or suppress, have been strictly asked nt to to consume, egg, brinjal and prawn, now with years the allergy rate had reduced, but a few days back had consumed egg by mistake, and it seems i am back to pavilion.

IF you consult a good Ayurveda expert, I think it will be really beneficial for you. Ayurvedic Panchakarma procedure called as Vamana and some excellent Ayurvedic drugs like Haridra Khanda will be of much help to you.
Try contacting any one of the doctors in the list given in the link, according to your convenience.

Are there any good natural cures for Eczema?

September 30, 2010 - 12:48 pm 6 Comments

I get occasional patches of eczema during the winter especially. Are there any good natural cures that I can use to treat it?

Try adding essential oils to pure aloe vera or any carrier oils such as sweet alond or jojoba.

For Dry Eczema: Chamomile , Geranium , Lavender

For Weeping Eczema: Bergamot , Juniper

You can purchase all of these things inexpensively online. Just be sure the essential oils are pure! Only a few drops go a long way.
