I hear that homeopathic medicine is just highly diluted substances where the solution sometimes is so diluted that it doesn’t have any of the original substance left. So how does drinking water cure you of ailments or is this just magic?

water can’t remember things once they have been diluted out. water touches thousands of dangerous chemicals throughout it’s cycle that have been diluted again and again. this according to homeopathy would make your drinking water lethal because all those chemicals would be MORE potent. IT IS NOT.

I mean, come on. Practitioners believe in the "law of similars" and that dilution of a "medication" increases its potency. Could there be a more bulls**t practice? Probably, but homeopathy is hard to beat. So why do people buy into this snake oil?
People believe Homeopathy works because it does.

Why do people believe that allopathy works? When you combine the high rate of drug recalls, faked studies, faked peer reviews and faked medical journal articles, how could anyone possibly give any credibility to it?
Most people are smart enough to realize that pseudoskeptic propaganda is a con. from people who have no medical or scientific credentials and are simply armchair quarterbacks. You’re entitled to your own opinion, but not your own facts.
All the evidence is against it. Clinical trials have consistently shown that homeopathic remedies are no better than placebos. The discipline is as flawed and outdated as Creation Science. So how do you persuade somebody it’s a load of bull?

The Darwin story parroters: It really doesn’t matter what one man in the 1800s took, said or did….what matters is evidence. Evolution had it. Homeopathy has none. Honestly people, do I have to invoke that lesson we all learned in grade school? If X person walked off a cliff, would you do it too? Fifth graders know the answer to that one…you apparently don’t.

You need to ask yourself if this belief is really harmful to them. If they’re forsaking Western (Real) Medicine for this crap, then yes, its harmful…..but if they just occasionally buy homeononsense sugar pills at the local paga-vegan health foo store every now and again…..it’s not worth losing a friendship over.
If you need to dissuade them, for the good of your friend or their family, just remember: Treat it like you’re going after their religion–it’s not something to go about doing casually. Know which battles to fight.

There sure is! Years back my daughter had a very bad eye infection….doctors gave me cream etc. etc. still her eye was no better…my best friends grandma told me put hot tea bags on her eyes..and make sure she even sleeps with one…In the am her eye was all better! It works on my dog as well he has allergies and when his eyes bother him, 1 tea bag does it.
Then there is honey…it is great for allergies. also energy put in coffee or tea…and also great for healing a wound..in the 1800’s when the gladiators had sword fights the honey was packed in the wounds..my doctor was the one to tell me this after a surgery…it worked so well…many old wives tales R so good!!
Apple Cider vinegar is also amazing…there is a book,..it works so well for so many things…even indigestion! Oh I could go on and on…but I already wrote a novel. LOL!
